Opening Boat Parade
Madeira Park Gov't Docks (start) and around Pender Harbour         
Classic and modern boats assemble at the Madeira Park Government Dock for the opening boat parade featuring the Pender Harbour Pipe & Drum Band. All boats are welcome! View the boat parade route interactive map here. Prize awarded to the best decorated boat!

Free public viewing of classic boats at the Madeira Park dock as well as Pender Harbour Living Heritage displays of small wooden boats and historic marine equipment. Try your hand at rowing a heritage replica Handliner or sliding seat rowboat!

Sailboat Races 
around Pender Harbour   
Join the Garden Bay Sailing Club for a sailboat race around the inner Pender Harbour. All are welcome and can find the club at their website. Boats intending to participate should gather between between Madeira Park and Garden Bay Peninsular by 11:45 am, when the course will be announced on VHF channel 6.
