5:30 PM Opening Boat Parade Madeira Park Gov't Docks (start) and around Pender Harbour Classic and modern boats assemble at the Madeira Park Government Dock for the opening boat parade featuring the Pender Harbour Pipe & Drum Band. Prize awarded to the best decorated boat! 8:00 PM (Doors open 7:30) Music Coffee House Pender Harbour School of Music The Pender Harbour Music Society presents a musical evening coffee house at the School of Music. 8:00 – 10:00 AM Lions Club Community Breakfast Millennium Park & area Pender Harbour Lions Club host a delicious breakfast with ham, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches ($) 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM Musical Performance Millennium Park & area Allan Neinhuis 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Madeira Park Gov't Docks Free public viewing of classic boats at the Madeira Park dock as well as Pender Harbour Living Heritage displays of small wooden boats and historic marine equipment. Try your hand at rowing a heritage replica Handliner or sliding seat rowboat! 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Fun for kids! Millennium Park & area Face painting, mini boat building, arts & crafts activities. 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM Displays, Interactive Demos, Vendors Millennium Park & area Including Pender Harbour Living Heritage Society, PODS/Ruby Lake Lagoon Society, Coast Astronomy, Pender Harbour Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue Society, PH Dragonboat, Pender Harbour Firefighters, local arts, crafts, vendors, 50/50 tickets sales and more! Union Steamship - Pender Harbour: The stories of the Union Steamship vessels that called on Pender Harbour Display/ Millennium Park by Isaac Vanderhorst of West Vancouver Museum 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM Rotary Club BBQ Millennium Park & area Pender Harbour Rotary Club cooks up delicious BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs for lunch. ($) 12:00 PM Sailboat Races around Pender Harbour Join the Garden Bay Sailing Club for a sailboat race around the inner Pender Harbour. All are welcome and can find the club at their website. Boats intending to participate should gather between between Madeira Park and Garden Bay Peninsular by 11:45 am, when the course will be announced on VHF channel 6. 1:00 - 2:00 PM Heritage Presentation Millennium Park & area (if raining: Pender Harbour School of Music Guest Speaker Isaac van der Horst, Education Coordinator of West Vancouver Museum & Archives, presents displays and maritime stories. 7:00 – 11:00 PM Dinner & Dance Pender Harbour Legion (Open to Public) 12829 Lillies Lake Road, Madeira Park Enjoy a fun-filled evening of dancing to John & Krystyna and The Bear Music Company.
