Matt was born and raised in Pender Harbour and he is the seventh generation of his family to live in this area. Matt might be our newest and youngest Chamber director, but he has quickly become an active and important member of the board.

After graduating from high school in 2019, Matt worked for us as a Travel Ambassador at our Madeira Park Visitor Information Centre. His experience with tourists and other staff has been invaluable for his current position as director because he has now taken over supervisory duties, hiring and training new staff at the Visitor Centre.

Matt is looking forward to helping our community grow by encouraging younger generations to get involved in local associations and government.
