Visit the Village of Egmont
The Egmont Heritage Centre offers a Visitor Information Center and is located across from the entrance to the Skookumchuck Rapids hike. Find free parking, washrooms, a gift shop and displays of historic artifacts that paint a picture of this fishing and logging community.
Drive down to the tiny village with world-class views. Visit the smallest post office and the Egmont Community Hall and thrift store offering a playground, picnic tables and porta-potties.
CAMPING
For primitive lakeside camping, take North Rd to find Klein Lake Recreation Site & Campground.
Timberline RV Park is close to the Earls Cove BC Ferries Terminal.
In Egmont, Bathgate Resort & Marina has a few oceanside campsites and Strongwater has campsites and sleeping cabins.
Closer to Pender Harbour is the Stonewater Motel and Camping, close to the PetroCan on Garden Bay Rd.

Bathgate Resort & Marina has beautiful waterfront suites and a well-stocked liquor and general store, washrooms, showers and a small laundromat with a view.
Rent a fishing boat or take a boat trip to watch the Skookuchuck Rapids from the water if you are looking for thrills! The marina offers moorage and a fuel dock.
West Coast Wilderness Lodge has deluxe accommodations and offers great kayak, jet ski and boat tour packages with lunch included in their restaurant Inlets with magnificent views.

In Ruby Lake
Just 15 minutes south of Egmont and north of Madeira Park, find the Ruby Lake Resort with its excellent restaurant La Trattoria. Stay in a safari tent or in a cabin by the lagoon, it’s a magical place!
